About Gloria
Gloria is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has over thirty years experience working with parents and children. Her passion is to provide parents with tools to help them be successful in their most important job of raising respectful and responsible children.
Gloria understands that if parents are empowered, they can bring out the best in their children. Gloria is a Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® Independent Facilitator. She has been teaching this philosophy for over eight years.
Gloria has presented Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® material to parents, educators, bus drivers, other professionals. She has presented at local, state and national conferences. On a regular basis she teaches enrichment classes for the Lapeer Community Schools.
Gloria has been recognized within the community and on a statewide basis for her work with children and families. She and her co-worker were recognized by the Michigan Association of School Boards for developing an Adventure Based Learning Program within their school.
Gloria is co-founder of Parenting Partnership with her friend and partner, Sharon Whitson. She also founded her own business, Parenting and Teaching with G.L.O., LLC (Great Learning Opportunities).
Gloria is the parent of three grown children. She is blessed with five young grandchildren. She enjoys using her skills with her grandchildren.
